Roger "Bill" Seib

Roger “Bill” W. Seib age 96 of Glen Ellyn. Beloved husband of Virginia; Loving father of Eric W.; Fond brother of the late Shirley Goldstead, late Richard Seib & the late Robert Seib and uncle of many nieces & nephews. Roger was a WWII Army Veteran as a medic specialist and a pharmacist. He proudly ran a resort in Minnesota for 13 years. Roger planted 10’s of thousands of trees on the (former Bar-X-Ranch) Arrow Peninsula on Thunder Lake, Remer, Minnesota. He developed many lakeshore tracts of land on various lakes in Minnesota. Over time he bought and managed farm land and worked as a union carpenter and ran his company, Glenrise Builders, building single family homes.

Visitation for Bill will be Thursday, December 5th from 9:30 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM at Leonard Memorial Funeral Home, 565 Duane St. Glen Ellyn (www.leonardmemorialhome.com or 630-469-0032). Interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Arlington Heights, IL.
