Margaret "Peggy" (Schneeberger) Cullen

Margaret “Peggy” Cullen (63), nee Schneeberger, passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2020. Born on Halloween in Cleveland, OH to the late Martha and Leonard Schneeberger. She was a proud and supportive sister to Anne (Steve) Smitherman, Cathy (Michael) Halloran, Jeanne Schneeberger, and Tricia Carpen. She attended Regina High School and St. Norbert’s College, where she met her husband, Michael J Cullen.They were married for an amazing 38 years,and eventually settled in Glen Ellyn, IL, where they grew their family. She was a loving mother to Colleen, Steven (Alyssa), and Brian (Ashlyn), and she recently became a grandmother to Carson Grace. She was a fond daughter-in-law to the late Cathy and John Cullen, and was an in-law,aunt, and great-aunt to many that she loved dearly. Her proudest role always was a friend, not only to her family members, but to all those she met through her journey of life, leaving a myriad of friendships scattered across the U.S.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Peggy’s name to Horizons for Youth (https://horizons-for-youth.org/donate-4/), a scholarship mentoring community in Chicago that members of the Cullen family are actively involved with.

Due to the current COVID-19 situation, funeral services and burial will be private.Peggy deserves the biggest celebration of her life, and a memorial service and party will be held at a later date.
