Jeanie Huffman

Jeanie Huffman (nee Connolly) of Glen Ellyn for over 60 years.  Beloved wife of the late Robert, loving mother of Gerard (Patricia) Huffman.  Devoted daughter of the late Bernard and the late Helen Crossan. Fond sister of the late Rachael McGurn and the late Kate Curly.  Aunt of many nieces and nephews including, Jean, Helen, Magdalene, Gerard, all of Scotland, Peter, Patsy, Cathy of California.  Great aunt and Great great aunt to many. 

Jeanie was an animal lover. She worked for many years at Daffy Down Dilly and Creative Gifts Studios, both in downtown Glen Ellyn.  An avid tennis player into her 80's and won many tournaments with her doubles partner and best friend Eve Poth.  A devoted parishioner of St. Petronille Catholic Church for over 64 years, Jeanie enjoyed being a Catholic Daughter with her dear friends Cathy Kuczynski and Marci Fallon.  She participated in many church events, including daily walks to church to pray the Rosary.  In her later years, Jeanie enjoyed "going to Mass" on TV.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Dupage Animal Friends, St. Petronille Catholic Church, or COVID-19 efforts of your choice would be appreciated. 

Services are private. Jeanie will be laid to rest at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Hillside.
