Gerald Bassett

Gerald Dow Bassett the 3rd passed away on September 7th, 2021.

Gerry as known to all that loved him was born Lombard Illinois to Marion and Gerald the 2nd .

Gerry was a long time resident of Wheaton, Illinoisand worked in sales for most of his career and was quite accomplished.However, many would say his biggest accomplishment was when he married his high school sweetheart and love of his life, Judith Bassett.  Together Gerry and Judy had 4 children, Jennifer (William), Gerald the 4th, Pamela (James) , and Timothy (Leslee), they were also blessed  with 6 grandchildren– Chris, Meghan, Scotty , Taylor, TJ and Danny.

Gerry was known for his constant banter with all those who knew him and often those who didn’t, some could say his missed his calling of standup comedy as he love to make people laugh.   In addition, Gerry was quit a chameleon, if his grandchild loved golf, you would see Gerry out on the range, if they loved computers or gaming he would talk the lingo. Simply put Gerry loved his family.
