Carol Petersen

Carol Ruth Petersen nee: Wille. Beloved wife of her late husband Robert Andrew Petersen. Loving mother of Mark (Bonnie Klemm), Randy (Donna), April (Paul) Meyers & Robin (James) McVickar. Dear grandmother of Cheryl, Tracy, Greg, Lauren, Kristen, Heather, Brian, Kevin, Daniel, Ryan, Sean, Ian, & Kandace. Great Grandmother to 20 lovely girls and boys. 

Devoted daughter of late Edward and Nora Wille. Sister of late Grace Biarnesen & Dorothy Lilja. 

Her achievements include National Honor Society and Valedictorian, graduating from Forman High School on June 22, 1945 and a long career as an Executive Secretary. She became Grandmother Extraordinaire! She was a very involved member of Grace Lutheran Church in Glen Ellyn including serving on the Altar Guild and actively volunteering with the food panty and PADS shelter program for over 60 years. She loved all of her cats throughout the years, loved baking, gardening, crocheting, ceramics, playing bridge and spending time with her family. 

Memorial Gathering is scheduled for Saturday, February 04, 2023 from 9 am - 1 pm at Leonard Memorial Home, 565 Duane Street, Glen Ellyn and Memorial Service to follow at 1 pm.
