William H. A. Pecover, age 92, died at his home in Glen Ellyn on June 25. Bill was born in London, England & served in both the British Merchant Marine & the Navy in WWII. He came to the U.S. in 1948 with his wife Beatrice Smith of Boston & lived in Villa Park, Glen Ellyn & Wheaton before returning to Glen Ellyn in 1982. He started Pecover Decorating Services in 1949 which grew into an industrial painting corporation. He retired at age 86.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife Bea, their son Colin & daughter Clarice. He is survived by Connie, his wife of 38 years, his son Clive & daughter-in-law Sharon, grandchildren Carrie & Geoff, great granddaughter Madison Pecover, step-son Dan Swinford, his wife Sundee & their children Dylan & Skylar.
No services were scheduled. A gathering of family & friends will be held in September. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Finishing Contractors Association of Illinois Larry Nedrow Scholarship at http://www.fcaofillinois.org/2018scholarship
