Sandra Wilson

Sandra "Sandie" Wilson, aged 62, died from the effects of stomach cancer at her home in Bloomingdale on July 17, 2018. Sandie was born in Springfield, Illinois, but was a resident of the Western Chicago suburbs for more than 40 years. She is survived by her loving husband of almost 45 years, Scott, her three sons, Scott, Ryan and Darren, her mother Lila Johnson, her sister Jean Ann Fitts, and three brothers, Tony, Tim and Brad Casper. She was a self-sacrificing wife and mother to her family, one who always put others first. Sandie spent more than a decade as a successful real estate agent with Coldwell Banker. Even more importantly, Sandie was a Christian who served God faithfully as one of Jehovah's Witnesses all of her life. She firmly believed in the future fulfillment of the promise that Jehovah God made to resurrect back to the earth those who perish. That hope was precious to her. A visitation will be held at the Leonard Funeral Home in Glen Ellyn on Friday, July 27th from 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Glen Ellyn on Saturday, July 28th at 2 p.m.
