Additional parking is available at the bank lot across the street, the public lot to our northwest, the church lot directly west of us, along the south side of the train tracks, in civic center parking lot to our west on Duane St. and all public/residential street parking.

Donna M. Gerhardt, nee Manthei,  a resident of Glen Ellyn for 55+ years passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 surrounded by her family.  She was the beloved wife of the late Paul for 34 years, loving mother of  Mark (Kathy), Keith, and Paul (Peggy); Dear grandmother of Jenna (Rob) O’Brien, Jacklyn (Tommy) Rieger, Sarah,  the late Aimee, Jacob (Kaitlyn), Alex & Meggie; Devoted daughter of the late Albert & the late Irma, nee Schwagmeyer; Fond sister of Wayne (late Janet) Manthei & late Gayle (late Linda) Manthei; Aunt of many nieces & nephews.

Donna was known for her incredible work ethic, working until age 79. She enjoyed various careers in the US judicial courts. She volunteered with many activities at Grace Lutheran Church including being a Sunday School teacher and working on the Altar Guild. She was very loving and had a positive outlook on everything.  She left an indelible mark on everyone’s heart that knew her. She will be dearly missed. Any donations can be made to Grace Lutheran Church in Glen Ellyn or the American Cancer society.

Visitation will be Sunday, May 19th from 3-6 pm at Leonard Memorial Funeral Home (www.leonardmemorialhome.com  (630-469-0032) 565 Duane St. Glen Ellyn, IL 60137.  Funeral service is Monday 10 AM at Grace Lutheran Church,  493 Forest Ave, Glen Ellyn, IL 60137. Interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery in Wheaton, IL.
