Joseph "Joe" Piro age 87 formerly of Glen Ellyn for 28 years. Joe is the beloved husband of Margaret for 67 years; devoted father of JoAnn (Robert) Vegter, Joseph Jr., Jeannette (Mark) Donovan and Jerrold Thomas (Jody) Piro, loving grandpa of Jessica (Paul) Kelly, Benjamin Joseph (Gabriela) Piro, Drew (Kristen) Donovan, Ross (Corrie) Donovan, Luke Donovan, Jake Donovan (FiancAC. Elizabeth James), Cortney Donovan (FiancAC. Mike Claus), Kyle (Melissa) Piro and Laura Piro; great-grandpa of Conor, Liam and Avery Kelly, Luca Piro, Brady, Quinn, Clive and Gilbert Donovan; dear brother of the late Doris (late Frank) Catania. Son of the late Carl (late Josephine) Piro. Visitation Tuesday June 21st. from 4-8 pm at Leonard Memorial Home (630-469-0032), 565 Duane St. Glen Ellyn. Funeral Mass Wednesday 12 PM at St. Petronille Church, 420 Glenwood Ave. Glen Ellyn. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery Hillside, IL. Joe spent 41 happy years working at UOP in Des Plaines, IL. He enjoyed spending time with his family, playing golf and his winters in Siesta Key Florida. In lieu of flowers donations appreciated to Alzheimer's Association 225 N.
