Edward Hendricks Lewis

Edward H. Lewis, age 93 of Glen Ellyn, passed away Monday, August 15.  Beloved husband of the late Muriel for 65 years.  Loving father of Carol (Bill) Scott, Claude (Cindy) and Dori (Larry) Mathe.  Dear grandfather of 7 and great-grandfather of 3 and uncle of many nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by his 4 brothers. Ed was a Mason, enjoyed golf, the Cubs, and was a fantastic athlete in his younger days.  Most important, he was a great father and grandfather.  Visitation Friday, August 19,  5pm – until time of service at 7:30pm at Leonard Memorial Home, 565 Duane St., Glen Ellyn.  Burial will be private at Acacia Park, Norridge.  In lieu of flowers, donations to Ed Posh Scholarship Fund, 485 Winchell Way, Glen Ellyn Il, 60137.  Funeral Information: 630-469-0032.
