Cheryl was my closest friend in High School. We only reconnected late last year after unfortunately losing touch for far too long. Thanks FB for making it possible to reconnect. We spoke several times and it was like time had stood still somehow. Love you Cheryl. So very sorry to hear about your passing. your girls are so very beautiful, just as you were.

To all of Cheryls' family,

Cheryl and I were best friends from OOJH and Niles North and Temple Judea. We were well known for getting into trouble. I am thrilled to hear that to the end she was still her snarky self that made me love hanging with her.

Our lives reconnected a few years back and I even drove over to see her and had a blast reminiscing on wonderful memories such as the getting busted by her mom as we stepped off the bus while ditching school to be Bleacher bums at Wrigley. Her mom never told my parents and I owed her greatly for that!

Then there was the time we did our oral report for Jewish Women in History and we picked Roller Derby girls! So we skated around the hebrew school slamming each other under tables and into other students demonstrating the awesome strength we both had!

I will miss Cheryl's energy and her laughter. I hope you all heal from this loss and find a way to honor her in ways that are truly meaningful for all.

Kristin, I am sorry you had to lose someone so important and special, but a mother will never leave you, she lives inside you and will watch over you forever. She did an excellent job raising you.
You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

So very sorry on losing a fun-loving, honest, sincere, and caring cousin. Her four daughters will all be wonderful women because of her dedication to them. Yes, I remember her love of her dogs, tennis, baseball, bowling, and her Skokie days on Kolmar Avenue.

I worked with Cheryl for many years at DMG and was one of the best employees a person could ask for. She was one you could always count on and was always there for you. It was always a joy to have her there as well as her screensaver of her favorite tennis player-and if you know Cheryl you know who that was. She truly loved life and loved her girls more. She will be missed by so many.
