William Edward Jegen

William Edward Jegan, 81, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2026. 

Devoted Husband of the late Linda Jegen; Loving father of: Maria (Jegen) Brown and William D. Jegen; Grandfather of Cassandra Brown, Kylee Brown, Tiffany Jegen; Son of the late William J. Jegen and late Elsie (McClain) Jegen and Brother of Jenni Jegen and the late Dolores Jegen.

Bill was a proud graduate of Broad Ripple High School class of 1962: Purdue University class of 1965 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering where he became a member of Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity. After college he attened John Marshall Law School achevieving a Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

He then owned the Law Office of William E. Jegen, PC.

Bill was as member of the Glen Ellyn Masonic Lodge #950 where graduated to Grand Commander of the Knights Templar of Illinois.

Owned farmland in Mount Carroll, IL for 28 years and was a proud Purdue sports fan.

Visitation for Bill will be from 4:30 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, March 12, 2026 at Leonard Memorial Home, 565 Duane St. Glen Ellyn with Masonic Service at 7:00 pm at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM at the funeral home, the following day, Friday, for him and his wife Linda, with burial to follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Glen Ellyn.
