Wayne D. Ostrom, Jr.

Wayne D. Ostrom, Jr., beloved Pap Pap, of Poplar Grove, passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2024. His grandkids were his entire world. Husband of Robin Ostrom. Father of Mallori Ostrom and Wayne Ostrom, III. Grandfather of Amelia Ostrom Ripley & Elizabeth Ostrom, Belle E. & Hailey P. Son of the late Wayne Ostrom, Sr. and the late Gail Weir. Brother of Candace Ostrom & Scott Ostrom. Uncle of Scott Ostrom, Jr. and the late Eric Ostrom.

Wayne retired from Fermilab after 21 years. Outside of work, he loved going to Rome, Wisconsin to visit the family cabin and spend time there with family & friends. He would take his granddaughter Amelia up as much as he could.

He was an avid lover of Boy Scouts & the Eagle Scouts. He remained a member until he was 23 years old.

He is now with his beloved Max, who his children jokingly said, “he loves Max more dearly than us.”

He spent many, many years playing Santa for grandkids, family, friends, veterans and at children’s hospitals.
