Vilma Dunlap Sigler, 92, of Sarasota, Florida formerly of Glen Ellyn Illinois passed away peacefully Saturday, July 17, 2021.
Born in Maracaibo, Venezuela on April 26, 1929. Vilma was the daughter of the late Lucina Parra Dunlap and Joseph Pointer.
Vilma enjoyed literature, the arts, entertainment, nature, travel, cooking and the symphony. A true lover of all animals, especially dogs and birds. She was born a natural athlete and participated in golf and bowling leagues in the Glen Ellyn area.

She was a devoted and loving mother with a great sense of humour. Her true passion in life was her family. As long as we live we will always remember how kind, devoted and wonderful she was to all she met. She was the best mother possible in every way.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 70 yrs, Edward; sons Edward (Ned), Paul, Stephen, Michael and daughters Carolyn and Natalie, grandchildren Ashley, Jason, Rudy, Elizabeth, Eddie, Jennifer, Kristin, Amy and 6 great grandchildren with one on the way.
