Thomas Louie Adams

Thomas Louie Adams, 86, of Glen Ellyn passed away on March 14, 2025. Adored husband of JoAnn Goff Adams for 64 years. Father of Joe (Gail), Thomas Jr. "Tee" (Karen) and Todd (Carol) Adams. Grandfather of Rachel, Joseph Jr., Ryan (Brooke), Katelyn, Thomas, Grace, John and Luke. Great grandfather of Faith. Son of Martha and David Adams. Brother of the late Helen (the late Bobby) Galloway, Don (Linda) Adams, the late Ron (Bonnie) Adams. Uncle of the late Catherine Galloway, the late Rachael Galloway, Angie (Kevin) Gallimore, April (Paul) Duncan, Mark Adams, Melissa (David) Gaylor, Laura (Alan) Capps, Lisa (William) Driggers, and Tripp Maxwell.

Thomas was a graduate of the University of South Carolina then worked for Shell Oil Company for 17 years. He served in the US Army. After working for Shell Oil, he proudly owned and operated a successful family business for 47 years. He was an excellent tennis player as a youth playing as the number one singles player at his high school and at South Carolina University. Later, he became an avid golfer and distinguished President of the Glen Oak Country Club. Above all, his primary passion was time spent with his family. 

This proud southern gentleman was honorable in all respects and touched all who knew him. Celebration of Life at Glen Oak Country Club in Glen Ellyn on Saturday, May 10, 2025 from noon to 4 pm.
