Susan J. Baratta

Susan J. Baratta, 73, nee Voigt, born August 7,1950 in Wisconsin Rapids, WI, passed January 4, 2024 in Downers Grove, IL.

Beloved mother of Jason (Lisa) Baratta, loving grandmother of Adam, Michael and Taylor Baratta. Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Harriet (Wilke) Voigt.

Susan grew up in Round Lake, IL and was the middle daughter between Lynn and Sarah. Graduated from Round Lake High School in 1968 and went on to work in IT, including a management position with the FBI/Dept of Justice, and retired in 2005 from Cosco Industries as Vice President of IT.

Susan was a treasured friend and Aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Visitation at 10:00am on January 19, 2024 with Service at 11:00am at St. Petronille Catholic Church 420 Glenwood Ave, Glen Ellyn, IL 60137. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the American Diabetes Association.
