Dixon and the late Betty Ann Roesch Dixon, Sister of Kimberly S. Dixon, Aunt of many nieces & nephews and a protector of four-legged friends,

Visitation Friday, November 4th, 2022 from 3:00 P.M. until time of memorial service at 6:15 P.M. at Leonard Memorial Funeral Home, 565 Duane St. Glen Ellyn, IL. Interment will be private.

Sharon was a Police and Fire Dispatcher at DU-COMM and a Senior Store Manager for the Boy Scouts of America. She graduated from Glenbard West H.S. and Northern Illinois University. She volunteered as a leader in the Boy Scouts of America for over 26 years. Sharon cherished her husband Robert to whom she was married for almost 40 years and adored her four children, their spouses, and her three grandchildren.

Sharon cared deeply for rescuing animals and appreciating nature. Sharon loved camping, hiking and horseback riding. She believed strongly in doing the right thing regardless of whether anyone was around to see it and leaving a place in better condition when she left to be considerate of those coming after her. She will be missed by many and though she is gone, she will not be forgotten.
