Scott Alexander Anderson

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Scott Alexander Anderson on Saturday, June 20th, 2020. 

​Scott leaves behind his dear son Gavin; the love of his life & the mother of his child Calli West; his loving parents Christina & Bob Anderson; his beloved brother Michael, his caring grandparents Cornelia & Alexander Powell and Carol & the late Douglas Anderson, his aunts & uncles Heather Brunswick (Earl Rumm), (the late Steven Brunswick), the late Jeff (Alisa) Anderson, Dave Anderson (Diane Drysdale) & his cherished cousins Rachel, Lauren, Amanda,  Meredith, Ben, Mac, William, Marnie & James.

​Scott was the proud father of a beautiful 2-1/2-year-old son, Gavin, who lit up and beamed each time he saw him.  Scott was so happy and proud of having a son.

Scott was very courageous and gave his best to everything he pursued in life. He was an athlete, history buff, writer, artist, avid reader and an amazing chef. Scott was a star athlete growing up and especially loved playing hockey.

Scott’s greatest gift to us still lives on with his son Gavin and will continue with his gracious gift of hope as an organ donor.  Even though his young life was tragically cut short, his unselfishness will carry on and help others to live on in his memory.

​We are all blessed to have had the time that we had with him and hope that Scott will be at peace.  We love you so much Scott, we will miss you every day. You are loved by so many people and have touched so many hearts.  Our prayers go with you as you go with God and join his loving family. As we say farewell, we thank God for the wonderful gift of Scott’s life.

​A memorial gathering to celebrate Scott’s life will take place at a later date.
