Samuel E. Scaletta

Samuel E. Scaletta, of St. Charles. Father of Dominick S. (Salina) & Gina C. (Cymone) Scaletta, ex-husband and dear friend of Terri G. Scaletta. Grandfather of Adrien, Jules, Bradley, Noah, Salvatore and Mireya. Son of Samuel P. and Joanne Scaletta (nee: Leonardi). Brother of Betsy, Jodi, Sharon, Larry and Mary.

Sam attended Wheaton North High School. He was an excellent Chef and Restaurant Manager. During all of his life, he loved trains- all model trains and real trains. He rode horses during his youth. Sam had a wonderful sense of humor and everyone he met loved him. He loved music- ranging from Joni Mitchell, Enya, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, and Metallica. Sam wrote incredible songs and played bass guitar. He owned Great American Bagel in Glen Ellyn along with his wife, Terri; the customers absolutely loved him and he remembered all his customers orders by heart. 

He will be terribly missed.
