Rosemary Raffensparger (nee: Rust), of Glen Ellyn (and Hinsdale).

Beloved wife of the late Richard “Dick” Raffensparger. Loving mother of Terri Scaletta (Sam), Kim Raffensparger (the late Jeff Murphy), and the late Scott (Marcia) Raffensparger.

Kindest/most loving Nana of: Michele (Greg) Stelik, Bradley Raffensparger, Dominick (Salena) Scaletta, Jill (Jeremy) Grote, Gina Scaletta (Cymone), Stacy Tibbs (Russ), Curt (Molly) Murphy, and Brent (Samantha) Murphy. Dearly Loved Great Nana of: Sydney, Tyler, Lauren, Avery, Harper, Adrien, Noah, Mireya, Jules, Bradley, Salvatore, Autumn, Tanner, Kiptyn, Tobin, Finnegan and Sebastian.

Devoted Daughter of the late Edor (Anderson) Rust and late Emma (Emily) Markvart. Dearest Sister of the late Henry (the late Lynn) Rust and the late Eleanor (Ellie) (the late Don) Geary. Adored Aunt of Lynda (David) Ruce, Lance (Beth) Geary, the late Mark Rust and the late Kurt (Joelle) Geary. Dearest Grand Aunt of Kathryn (Kelly), Sara, Luke, Dan, Chauntell, and Lara

Rosemary was an accomplished artist, attending The Art Institute of Chicago.  She was an avid reader of novels.  She was employed as an illustrator, as well as a legal assistant.

She will be missed by so many, but her sparkle, kindness, and joy of life will live on with all of those she touched in her life.

The funeral/internment will be private.  There will be an announcement of a Celebration of Life in the Spring or Summer of 2024. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.

Thank you for all of the prayers and good wishes throughout Rosemary’s illness, her family appreciates them more than you know.
