Robert Paul Junta of Carol Stream and a longtime resident of Glen Ellyn. Husband of Sandy (Lerche) Junta for 50 years. Father of Christy (Frank) Tajak, Sherri (Fidel) Tenorio & Steven Junta. Grandfather of Frankie, Samantha & Penelope Tajak, Heather Markham & Amber Tenorio. Great grandfather of Laryssa & RJ Markham and Aubrey Tenorio. Son of the late Anthony & late Dorothy Junta. Brother of Donald (Dee) Junta & James (Debbie) Junta. Uncle of Katherine Fox, Jackie Junta, Tony Junta, David Buregeson, Katie Lerche & Terri (PJ) Zappa. Sister-in-law Rolle (Jeff) Burgeson and brother-in-law of Tom (Linda) Lerche

Robert was owner of AP Junta & Sons Wholesale Produce. He liked to drink manhattans, boating & being with his family.

Visitation is Wednesday November 11th from 4-8 at Leonard Memorial Funeral Home (www.leonardmemorialhome.com), 565 Duane St. Glen Ellyn, IL.

Funeral Mass, Thursday, 11 AM at St. Petronille Church, 420 Glenwood Ave. Glen Ellyn. Lunch to follow at Ki’s on North Ave in Glendale Heights, all are welcome.

Interment is private.
