Rick M. Rearick

Rick M. Rearick, 62, was an accomplished architect who left a lasting legacy on Glen Ellyn and beyond. He loved music, sports, and his friends and family near and far. He was a selfless, caring father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.

Rick is survived by his children Alex Rearick (Emily), Olivia Thorson (Nils), and Claire Fearn (Charles). His granddaughter Ruby Thorson. His sisters Julie Rearick and Joanne Streeter (Mike). His former wife Debra Ashley. His nieces and nephews Lily Peterson, Garrick Peterson, Poppy Peterson, Zoe Peterson, Danielle Mouw, Monet Borione, and Tara Bougie-Zambon. Preceded in death by his mother and father Marian and William Rearick, his brother-in-law Garrick Peterson, and his nephew Andrew Peterson.

A Celebration of Life will take place Saturday, October 22 from 1-4 pm at the Lake Ellyn Boathouse, 645 Lenox Avenue in Glen Ellyn.
