Richard Rahn

Richard E. Rahn, age 86, of Glendale Heights. Beloved husband of the late Arlowyn. Devoted Father of Andrea, Richard, and Jerry. Cool Grandpa of Anthony, Arlowyn, Renee, Katerina, the late Stefania, and loving Great Grandfather of Lazios, Emmett, Giorgio, Kolton, Sofia. Dear Son of the late Ernest & Mildred Rahn. Fond brother of Patricia and the late Robert. Dearest uncle to many.

He loved music including learning guitar and playing and teaching the piano. After retiring from being an employee of Ford for many years he spent time with the Chicago Accordian Club and was a member of IAM Local 701. He enjoyed collecting stamps and coins and when younger traveling to National Parks and family camping trips.

He was a loving family man who enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, family will appreciate memorial donations to the American Lung Association.

Visitation at 4 PM - 8 PM on Friday, February 7th at Leonard Memorial Home, 565 Duane Street, Glen Ellyn, IL 60137. Funeral Service at 11 AM on Saturday, February 8th at Leonard Memorial Home with burial to follow, St. Michael's Cemetery, Wheaton.
