Richard Leamy

Richard John Leamy, born November 2, 1925, passed away peacefully on July 6, joining his beloved wife of 75 years, Anna Catherine. 

Devoted husband, father of Diane, Richard (Lisa), Scott (Martha), Jeanette (Bruce), Michael (Sue), grandfather to  Ben, Elizabeth, Zach (Jessie), Taylor, Kendall, Cody and Conor (Allie), and great grandfather to Maddie, Maverick and twin girls arriving soon.

Born and raised in Chicago, he joined the United States Army Air Corps on June 9, 1943, at the age of 17.

After raising his family, he retired from a successful career in Insurance and enjoyed many happy years at Wall Lake in Michigan. 

A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 16th at St. Petronille Church, in Glen Ellyn, IL. A lunch reception will follow at the Capri Restaurant in Burr Ridge, IL.
