Raymond “Ray" Skipton

Raymond “Ray” Skipton age 90 of Glen Ellyn. Passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on December 5th.

Dearest husband of the late Nancy; Loving father of Mark and dearly departed twins Kevin and Brian (1978). Fond brother of the late Merlin, Arlene and Loretta. Dear uncle of Joe, Mike, Jeff and Robert Hajny and beloved son of the late Roy and late Marie Skipton.

Ray was an accomplished pilot, avid boater and expert skier. He enjoyed astronomy and photography during his retirement as well as spending time with his family in Wisconsin. Ray was a man of faith, generosity and effortless kindness. Nobody had a bad word to say about him, nor he for anyone else. He was an example for us all.

Visitation Friday, December 12th from 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM at Leonard Funeral Home, 565 Duane St. Glen Ellyn. Processing to St. Petronille church for 11 AM Mass after the visitation. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, IL.
