Raymond D. Fisher

Ray Fisher, age 95, a resident of Glen Ellyn for 68 years, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2023, in his home, preceded in death by his beloved wife of 61 years Aleen, his son Ray Fisher III, and his sister Dorothy. 

Ray was the loving father of Nancy (Bernardo) Campoy, Linda Feldmann (Wilson Francis), Gayle (Carlos) Moran, Bruce (Heidi), and Marc (Jon Tennant); dear grandfather of Matthew, Peter, Justin, Michael, Whitney, Christopher, Andi, Jessica, Emilie, Marc, Ryan, Scott, Chris, Corey, Jacob, James, Andrew, and Finn; great-grandfather of Josie, Calvin, Lucinda, Jackson, Maya, Cecilia, Madison, Marissa, and Nicholas, uncle of many nieces and nephews.

His greatest pride was the family he built with Aleen.

A memorial gathering will be on Sunday, September 17, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, 1250 Roosevelt Rd., Glen Ellyn, from 3:00 p.m. until time of service at 3:30 p.m., to be followed immediately by dinner, also at the Crowne Plaza Hotel.
