Peter J. Santi, Sr.

Peter J. Santi, Sr., age 93, from Harwood Heights, Illinois, passed peacefully on June 16, 2024. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 55 years, Anita (nee Tabor), and brother, Ernesto, Jr. Peter will be lovingly remembered by his cherished children Lisa (Mark), Lynda (Patrick), and Peter, Jr. (Tammy); his grandchildren Ian (Andrea), Tyler, Taylor Lyn (Brandon), Jeremy (fiancé, Mary), Zachary, Alexander, and Samuel (Ashley); and great-granddaughters Ada Joy and Madison Lyn.

Peter spent his career in the printing trades as a lithographer and worked tirelessly for his family. He was meticulous in everything he did and always believed that it was important to never stop learning. Peter’s proudest accomplishments were his three children and the life he and Anita built with them. They all shared a wonderful life full of love, laughter, and adventure in their little home in Harwood Heights. He enjoyed gardening and taking photographs of everyone and everything. He treasured the simple things in life such as a sunset, a beautiful cake, and dancing with Anita any chance he could. The end result was a wonderful life, well lived.

A formal funeral will not be held per Peter’s wishes, as all he wanted was to be laid next to Anita upon his passing. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research in memory of Peter J. Santi would be welcomed.
