Patricia "Patty" L. (Olson) Peterson, 69, of Glen Ellyn. Most loving Wife of the late Edwin "Ed" L. Peterson for 40+ years. Devoted Mother of Brian Coppoth and Cory (Johnny) Schmid. Adoring Grandma of Iyla & Alivia Schmid. Daughter of the late Donald and the late Dolores Olson. Beloved Sister of Steve and Dave Olson, the late Virginia and the late John Olson.
Patty spent most of her career in Hospitality and she loved working with people. A large portion of that time was spent as a Travel Agent - specializing in anything Disney. She then worked at The Village Links Golf Course in Glen Ellyn for many years. She was a talented cheerleader at Willowbrook High School. She enjoyed volleyball, bowling, horse racing, and anything that put her around friends/family.
She was the most caring and compassionate woman to anyone who knew her and is loved by so many. One of her favorite quotes, from a special Disney movie - "OHANA means Family, and FAMILY means no one gets left behind, or forgotten". She will be missed dearly, but forever in our hearts.
