Pamella B. Gray nee: Clarke, 86, of Plainfield, Illinois.

Born on April 02, 1938 in Kingston, Jamaica and passed away at home on September 06, 2024.

Most loving wife of Melvin Gray and caring mother of Michael, Pauline and Sandra Gray. Compassionate grandmother of Shawn Drake, Vaughn, Kashaine, Micah, Mikyle, Kymbria & Kahil Gray; great-grandmother of Ethan & Eian Gray and Maya Drake. Dearly loved daughter of William Clarke and Ethel Francis. Sister of Lloyd, Elaine, Valerie & Carol Clarke / Elpedo, Frederick, Daniel, Annie, Marie & Patricia Dixon.

She worked for over 27 years with TJX Corporation. After retiring as a supervisor, her favorite moments were spent loving on the kids and grandkids daily & cooking for anyone that came over on Sunday afternoon for dinner.

She had an incredible green thumb and a knack for houseplants. She enjoyed cheering on her favorite sports teams, the Chicago Bulls & the Chicago Bears.

She was known to sneak a late-night Breyers Vanilla Ice Cream and she liked a strong “White Rum & Milk” or “Gin & Tonic.”

A visitation will be held for her on Sunday, September 15th from 3 PM - 7 PM with a service at 6:30 PM (Livestreamed via this link Pamella Gray Service Livestream at Beidelman & Kunsch Funeral Home, 24021 Royal Worthington Dr., Naperville, IL 60564.

Monday meet at 11:30 AM at Memorial Park Cemetery (at the main office corner of Gross Point Rd & Old Orchard Rd.), 9900 Gross Point Rd., Skokie, IL. for an 11:45 AM burial.
