Fond brother in law of Karen Gordon & Dawn (Tim) Kossak. Dear uncle and great uncle of 19 nieces & nephews.
Lee was a retired Local 597 Pipefitter, working in the field for over 40 years. He taught HVAC Basics at C.O.D in the mid 1980’s and @ ETI Trade School in 2021. His love of teaching was apparent in his personal life too. He was affectionately known as “Mr. Fix-it” to nearly everyone. He loved to help, fix and instruct because “I won’t always be here”.
Lee’s lifelong hobby was drag racing; both as a spectator & participant. His “Baby” sat in our heated garage and was out racing @ RT66 & Byron Dragways often. Lee also loved camping (in a trailer) with all the comforts of home. No tents or bugs!
Mostly, Lee was a family man, with a ready smile and a lot of mostly bad jokes. He loved being involved with all 5 kids & 7 grandkids whenever possible. He was a proud husband, dad & grandpa who made everyone feel loved. For that and a million other reasons he will be missed forever.
