Forever in our hearts, Nanelle Diane McClowry (March 4, 1981 - February 13, 2021), devoted mother, beloved wife, caring daughter, cherished sister, adored aunt and dear friend, passed away after a brave and courageous 2-year-plus battle with breast cancer, just 19 days before her 40th birthday.
Nanelle grew up in Chicago and graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in Management Information Systems. She put family first and selflessly dedicated all of her energy into being the most loyal super mom. Those who loved her were blessed with her clever witty humor, perfect gifts and endless support and love. She fed her soul through visits to nature and lakes, immersing herself in books, music and projects, and spending quality time with her family.
She lived for her husband Kevin, daughters Atty and Teagan and sons Liam and Conor. She is survived by parents John and Carol Nawrocki and siblings Neal (Dawn), Nolan (Christie) and Nicole (Andy) Eltzroth, as well as her family through marriage, Tom and Sissy McClowry, Sean (Angela), Shannon (Bobby) Griffin, Moira (Dave) Garza, Colleen (Amir) Djavaherian and the late Conor.
She also left behind many nephews and nieces who cherished her, including Aidan, Ashton, Ava, Noah, Luke, Emma, Lanie, Eliza, Estelle, Declan, Maeve, Rory, Quinn, Levi, Ayla, Mira and Maya.
Because of the pandemic, a memorial service or celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date in the spring or summer. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a memorial trust fund that will be established for Atty, Teagan, Liam and Conor McClowry. More details can be found at www.nanellemcclowry.com
