Mary Ann Myrda

Mary Ann Myrda age 83 of Glendale Heights. Loving mother of Mark (Donna), Gene (Krissa) Myrda, Diane (Michael) Palermo, Donna (Chris) Daniel & the late Kenneth. Adoring grandma of Tina (Erick) Oomens, Brian Myrda; Christopher (Amber) Myrda, Lauren (Brad) Higgs; Ryan (Jenna) Palermo, Nicholette (Jacob) Schulte, Kaitlyn (Sean) McGowan, Alyssa, Garrett; Jacob Daniel. Beloved daughter of the late Albert & late Helen Kropp, Dearest sister of Alberta (George) Argast &; Linda (Alan) Anderson and dear aunt of many.

Mary Ann worked for 35 years at the DuPage County Courthouse. She was an awesome Mom, Grandma and Great Grandma.

She was devoted to her family, sometimes working several jobs at the same time to help provide for her children.  Her joy later in life was seeing her grandchildren and great grandchildren, especially the babies.  She would always talk about the new pictures she would get.  Whenever they were around, she would say, “give grandma kisses!”  When life became hard, She never gave up, always putting family first.  

Visitation for Mary Ann will be on Tuesday December 20 th from 4-8 PM at Leonard Funeral Home, 565 Duane St. Glen Ellyn. Funeral Mass, Wednesday, December 21 st , 10 AM at St. Matthew’s Church, 1555 Glen Ellyn Rd, Glendale Heights, IL 60139. Interment to follow Mass at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, IL.
