Mary Ann Flanagan

Mary Ann Flanagan, 79, passed away July 3rd 2021. Dearest wife to the late Dennis J. Flanagan; Devoted mother to Kerry (John) Chitkowski, Dennis J. (Nancy) Flanagan, Sean P. (Heidi) Flanagan; Loving grandmother to Nicholas Flanagan, Danielle (Joshua) Seaver, Stephanie Chitkowski, Patrick Flanagan, Erin Flanagan, Micheal Flanagan and Quinn Flanagan; Adored daughter of the late Joseph A. Gits and the late Mary Gits; Caring sister to Joseph (the late Mary) Gits, Nancy (Robert) Ford, Susie (Robert) Faut, and Robert “Charlie” (Barb) Gits; Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews; Beloved friend of Sandie Chitkowski. Mary Ann was a long time resident of Glen Ellyn and owned Accents Plus in Little Shops. She loved going to the Morton Arboretum. Her family was the most important thing to her.

As with all adversity in her life, she fought her last battle with courage, dignity and a smile.

Visitation will be on Wednesday July 7th from 9AM - 11 AM. Mass will follow at St. Petronille Church, 420 Glenwood Ave, Glen Ellyn at 11:30.
