Mary Ann Steen Nee Baluff age 83 of Glen Ellyn since 1957 and resident of Lexington since 2013. Beloved wife of John "Shaun" (1933-2013) for 57 years and dear mother of John L.(Kim), Tim (Chris), Mary Kay (Ulrich), Kevin, Kathleen, Joe (Dawn), Peter (Jennifer), and Louise (Ethan). Caring grandma of 13 and great grandma of 6. Mary Ann is also survived by her dear sister Loretta and brother James and many nieces and nephews.

Mary Ann was a 56 year member of St Petronille Church in Glen Ellyn where she served as a Eucharistic minister, a pastoral care giver, and active member of Catholic Daughters. Mary Ann was at mass daily with her husband, often adjourning to the local bagel shop or restaurant with her husband and fellow parishioners who were friends for many decades, present for numerous life celebrations for the Steen family.

The family plans a private service for Mary Ann at Leonard Memorial Home and private Interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, IL. The family plans a Memorial Mass after the pandemic.
