Mary J. Henseler

Mary J. Henseler passed away August 31st . Beloved daughter of Catherine and Philip "Duke" Henseler; Dear sister of the late Fr. Phil Henseler, Peter (Molly) Henseler,  Margaret (Doug) Gaye, Kathleen (Jack) Scheible, Karol (Dave) Orsborn, Jim Henseler and John (Sarah) Henseler; Caring and loving aunt of numerous nieces and nephews; Cherished by many extended family and friends.
Mary spent her entire career as a passionate and dedicated nurse, manager and coworker.  A graduate of the Rush School of Nursing  in Chicago, she later earned her MBA at the Keller School of Business. She was a voracious reader and perpetual learner. She had an insatiable mind and intellect. When relaxing, she loved to read, draw, cook and enjoy a good margarita or other cocktail. In her free time, she liked to visit with family and decorate her home in Glendale Heights.  Mary's strong-will, independence and self-reliance will be notably missed, as will the absence of her artistic flair when it comes to Christmas wrappings.  Her passing will leave a hole in the hearts of us all.  May the force be with her.

Visitation is Saturday, September 4th from 9:00 AM - 9:45 AM at St. James the Apostle Church, 480 S. Park Blvd, Glen Ellyn, IL 60137. Funeral Mass will begin after the visitation at 10:00am. Interment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, IL. In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial donation in Mary's name to Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital in Wheaton, Illinois
