Marilyn Forman

Marilyn Ruth Forman (nee Harbin) who lived in Glen Ellyn, IL for 66 years, died peacefully in Carol Stream, IL on August 19,2021 at the age of 94. She was predeceased by her parents, Mary (nee Sheahan) and Charles Harbin of St. Paul, MN, her husband of 64 years, Kenneth Charles Forman, her daughters Dana Maas and Jill Forman, and grandson Christopher Forman.

Born and raised in St. Paul, MN, and after moving to Winnetka, IL, Lynn attended New Trier and Northwestern University where she met her future husband, KC Forman. Raising their family in Glen Ellyn, Lynn worked as a Market Research executive for Leo Burnett advertising until her retirement. Her love of cooking, entertaining and bridge were the center of many intimate, enduring friendships. Many a festive dinner party ended gathered around the piano with Lynn playing and singing Broadway show tunes. Family and friends remember Lynn for her perpetual smile, her quick wit, unfailing pursuit of entertainment fun, her personal strength, perseverance and faith in God.

She is survived by her son-in-law Robert Maas of Aurora, IL,  her daughter, Diane Carstens and husband Charles of Atlanta, GA, her daughter Barbara McCleave and husband Jeffrey of Huntley, IL,  her son KC Forman and wife Carmella of Glen Ellyn, IL, her grandchildren Benjamin, Kevin (Rosie), David (Victoria), Charles (Katherine Cederbaum), George (Katherine), Kelly, Michael (Lisa), Kevin, Patrick, William and great-grandchildren Flynn, Calvin, Liam and Axel.

A Mass will be held on September 4th, 9:30am at St.Petronille Church, 420 Glenwood Ave. Glen Ellyn, IL. Burial will follow immediately at Forest Hill Cemetery, Riford and St. Charles Roads, in Glen Ellyn. The family requests that anyone wishing to make a memorial gift in Lynn's name may do so to The Morton Arboretum, tribute@mortonarb.org. or their favorite charity.
