Marilyn C. Burdett, 86, of Glen Ellyn passed away peacefully surrounded with many family and friends on November 06, 2024.

She was born on September 09, 1938 in Chicago, Illinois.

Beloved daughter of the late Robert E. & Carolyn Stoker. Devoted wife of James Burdett. Loving mother of the late Deborah Burdett-Dodd, Daniel (Julie) Burdett and Donna Burdett. Fond grandmother of Matthew Humphrees, Shawn (Anne) Anaya, Daniel Dodd, Dennis Dodd, Michael (Samantha Hurwitz) Burdett, Connor (Kenzie Calhoun) Burdett, Jessie (Kyle) Sa Lee, and Emma (Zach Ammons) Burdett. Beloved great grandmother of many.

Marilyn graduated from Menlo Atherton High School in Menlo Park, California. After moving to Illinois, she enjoyed her career over thirty years at the YMCA in Glen Ellyn. She was devoted to her dog, Bear, whom passed away a few years before her.

Memorial Gathering on Sunday, December 1, 2024 from 12 PM to 4 PM with a Service of Remembrances at 3 PM at Leonard Memorial Home, 565 Duane Street, Glen Ellyn, IL 60137.
