Magdalen Maria Jimenez

Our beloved mother, Magdalen Jimenez passed away on January 26th, 2026 at the age of 77, from health complications.  Magdalen Jimenez was born on May 29th, 1948. She was a hardworking, brave and loving mother who lived for her family.

She married the companion of her life, Jose Jimenez on January 18, 1969. She and her family immigrated to the United States from Mexico in 1978 seeking better opportunities for their children.  Magdalen had a strong work ethic, and taught her children resiliency, strength and the courage to face any obstacle.  Magdalen was a woman of faith who taught her children the power of prayer and inner strength.  Magdalen believed in “tough love” and pushed her family to become the best version of themselves.

Her favorite pastimes were exploring new foods from different cultures.  She enjoyed dining out with her children and grandchildren.  She is survived by her three children Selene Jimenez-Dyavanapalli, Pearl Casurella, and Stephanie Jimenez-Liushniak; and their six grandchildren Rocco Casurella III, Sienna Dyavanapalli, Joseph Casurella, Katherine Casurella, Alexander Dyavanapalli, and Gianni Casurella. 

Magdalen was a caring mother who was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. Her charisma and sense of humor will live on in our hearts forever.
