Lynn A. Giunta

Lynn A. Giunta wished upon a star and fell into the arms of Tony, the love of her life, on December 5, 2025. She was 78 years old.

Lynn had a lifelong love affair with Disney, gemstones, flowers, children and above all her family. She was passionate about her home and her students. She possessed a love for all things beautiful.  Her education was a huge part of her life, graduating from Trinity HS and Rosary College. She is a legend in Glen Ellyn for her 30+ years as a teacher at St. James the Apostle Catholic School. When she left this earth, her children, her grandchildren and her students knew that they had been greatly loved.

We mourn her loss but we are comforted knowing that she is at peace. Lynn was the beloved wife of our dad, Tony, for 54 years; loving mother of Michael Giunta (Alison), Christine Giunta-Mayer (Nick Mayer), Karen Spandikow (Scott Vuono); loving grandmother of Jackson, Olivia, DeDe, John Kelly and Paul; dear daughter of the late Joseph and Marion Marco; sister of Midge (Mike) Rehmer; brothers, Joe Marco and Philip (Carol) Marco; devoted aunt of Kelly, Jeff, Michael, Dan, Adam, Joe, Jimmy, Danny and TJ; Godmother to Andy Richter, Joseph Rehmer and Danny Marco.

Visitation from 4:00pm - 8:00pm on Sunday, December 21, 2025 at Leonard Memorial Home, 565 Duane Street, Glen Ellyn, IL.
