Linda Lee Jegen

Linda Lee Jegen, 81, passed away on Sunday, February 28, 2026. Loving wife of the late William E. Jegen, married for 60 years; Devoted mother of Maria (Jegen) Brown and William D. Jegen; Grandmother of Cassandra Brown, Kylee Brown, Tiffany Jegen and Daughter of the late Lawrance and late Beulah (Fry) Moffett

Linda proudly graduated from Broad Ripple High School class of 1962, Indiana University with a degree in Nursing class of 1966. 

After school she began her career as teaching nursing at St. Anthony Hospital in Chicago for 4 years, then progressing to a celebrated career as a Registered Nurse, RN at Marian Joy Rehabilitation Hospital in Wheaton for 28 years.

She was also a Master Gardener of Illinois.

Visitation for Linda will be from 4:30 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, March 12, 2026 at Leonard Memorial Home, 565 Duane St. Glen Ellyn. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM at the funeral home, the following day, Friday for her and her husband Bill, with burial to follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Glen Ellyn.
