Leatha Cizek Obituary

Leatha Bea Cizek, of Wheaton, passed away on April 25, 2023. Devoted mother to Mark A., Elizabeth G. and loving wife of Chris Cizek. She especially enjoyed traveling to watch Elizabeth play softball and participating in being a softball-mom and following Elizabeth's tournaments.

Daughter of LaVerne and Marietta (nee: Comstock) Smith. Dear sister of Sherry Johnson, Bob (Diane) Smith, Dean (Lori) Smith & the late Joyce (nee: Smith) LaGesse.

Lea worked at Addus Home Care for over fifteen years starting as a contract specialist and was promoted to Director of National Contracts after other promotions. Eventually she managed a team of ten employees and was affectionately called a "work-a-holic" which led her to oversee thousands of contract procurements. Due to her exceptional customer service and knack for building relationships she brought much success and new business to Addus Home Care. Outside of her career, Lea was an active member with First United Methodist Church.

Lea also enjoyed mind-strengthening challenges like crosswords, soduko and jigsaw puzzles.
