John "Jack" M. Reinert

John "Jack" Mathew Reinert, age 93 of Glen Ellyn.  Beloved husband of Frances Irene (nee: Weincek).  Loving father of John Thomas, Michael James, Therese Lynn Jacobbe, Kathleen Frances (Col. Steven) Graham, Jean Ann (Wayne) Hicks.  Dear grandfather of Jason Reinert, Matthew Reinert, George Jacobbe, Angela Reinert, Kirsten Miller, Kyle Hicks, and Austin Hicks.  Great-grandfather of Olivia Reinert, Mariella Reinert, and MacKenzie Reinert.  Devoted son of the late John and Anna Reinert.  Fond brother of the late William (Joan) Reinert.  Uncle of Wanda Doris, William Reinert, Patricia Reinert and Robert Reinert.

John was a member of the U.S. Army.  He received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois and worked for Commonwealth Edison as electrical engineer for 38 years.  He was an avid golf enthusiast and a lifelong Chicago Cubs and Bears fan.

Visitation is private. Funeral Mass Saturday, June 6, 10 AM, at St. Petronille Catholic Church.  Burial is private at Assumption Cemetery in Wheaton.
