John W. "Jack" Robinson

John William Robinson age 89 of Plainfield, IL and formerly of Golden, MO. Beloved husband of the late Beverly. Strong, caring and devoted father of Rhonda, Jim & John Robinson. Dear grandfather of Cristina (Dave) Hayes, Patricia Morrone (Andreas Boettcher), Jim Robinson, Jaque (Robert) Kiec, Craig & Mark Robinson. Great-Grandfather of Christopher Forman and Vivian Hayes. Dearest son of the late Neil & late Agnes Robinson and fond brother of the late Alan Robinson.

Born and raised in Peru, IL. He had many hobbies including astrology, playing various instruments and enjoying music in his hot tub in Missouri. He was a proud labor foreman for many high-rises in the city of Chicago and enjoyed a long career doing so. He will be remembered as a very funny man, who was very sociable and friendly.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 23rd from 10 AM until the time of service at 12:15 PM at Leonard Memorial Funeral Home (www.leonardmemorialhome.com or 630-469-0032), 565 Duane St. Glen Ellyn, IL. Burial to follow in Assumption Cemetery, Wheaton, IL.
