 Jesse Charles Krueger (Butch) died unexpectedly on February 10th, 2022. He was 72 years young. He is survived by his loving wife, Laura (Denning) Krueger. Loving father of Shaun (Julie) & the late Corey (Kristin). Loving grandfather of Corey Jr., Nolan, Liam & Declan. Beloved son of the late Charles A. & the late Susan M. Dear brother of Barbara (Henry) Baumann & Robert Osborne and loving uncle of many nieces & nephews.

Jesse was born in Elmhurst, IL, on May 7, 1949 and grew up in Glen Ellyn where he graduated from Glenbard West. Upon graduation, he enlisted in the US Navy in 1968. He was a veteran and proudly served his country during the Vietnam War aboard the USS Bon Homme Richard. He was discharged honorably as an aviation boatswain's mate 3rd class. Jesse was a licensed paramedic and proud firefighter for the Glen Ellyn fire department for 10yrs. He enjoyed a life-long career in engineering and earned a Bachelor's degree from Concordia University in River Forest.

He was an avid fisherman, outdoorsmen and enjoyed woodworking, collecting antiques and traveling. He treasured sharing anytime he could with his whole family and dearly loved his grandkids.
A memorial and celebration of life will be held at a later date.

 Arrangements were handled by Leonard Memorial Funeral Home in Glen Ellyn.
