Jerry Jeske

Glen Ellyn resident Jeremiah Jeske passed away May 19, 2021 at Brookdale Senior Living. He was born in Aurora in 1934 and lived there until he married Jean Sippel. They moved to Glen Ellyn in 1964, owned their present home for 54 years. He spent his entire working career, 38 years, with Northern Illinois Gas Company.  He and his wife Jean have 2 sons, James and Joel Jeske. Jeremiah participated in Jaycees, Community Chorale, Glen Ellyn Historical Society, Grace Lutheran Church and earned a pilot’s license when he was forty. He flew Cessna’s for a hobby until he was 65. He belonged to airplane clubs and built, as well as sold radio controlled planes

Jeremiah requested any monetary donations be made to the Glen Ellyn Historical Society
