Jean A. Karum, age 96. Absent from the body, present with The Lord. Formerly of Glen Ellyn & currently of Story Point of Naperville. Beloved wife of the late Gordon. Loving mother of James (Kimberly), John (Susan) and Robert (Nancy). Dear Grandmother of Michael (Ashley), Scott, Jorie, Paul (Jenny), Keith, Marc, Joshua, Mark and Lindsey Molina. Dearest Great-Grandmother of Aaron, Zoe & Niko, Easton and Evan. Dear aunt of many nieces and nephews. Jean grew up in Chicago. She met Gordon when she was attending a local school. Jean went out of her way to cross where Gordon was on patrol. They became good friends and later a couple. Jean waited for her Gordon to come back from WW II where they got married at age 21 and had 3 sons. Jean was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to all. Jean’s love for the Lord was evident in her everyday life. Jean will be greatly missed by many.

Funeral service at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 3rd at 10 AM follow by burial at Chapel Hill Garden West in Oakbrook Terrace, IL.
