Janet M Heise

Janet Marilyn Heise, nee Bolin,of Glen Ellyn passed away Saturday, November 2nd. Janet was the beloved wife of the late Robert Henry Heise, loving mother of Steven, Mark, Timothy, and Amy Keil, dear grandmother of Daniel (Amy), Jessica (Michael) Ruck, Caroline and Amanda Keil, and a special great-grandmother to Olivia & Daric Liebing, Elora& Andrew Ruck and Georgia Heise.  She was devoted to her brother Jim, cousin Lou and many other cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.

Janet was born in Sullivan, IL and was a longtime resident of Glen Ellyn and Fort Myers. She was in the 2nd graduating class for Nursing from the College of DuPage. She spent her working years committed to nursing and eventually held the role of Associate Director of Nursing for the Shell Point Retirement Community in Fort Myers. She was a very active member of the Wheaton Chinese Alliance Church and took pride in her church community.  She also developed passions for genealogy, needlepoint, gardening and devoted her free time to helping the Kassel Mission Historical Society to honor her uncle Roy Bolin.

Visitation for Janet is Friday, November 8th from 4-8 PM at Leonard Memorial Funeral Home, 565 Duane St. Glen Ellyn (www.leonardmemorialhome.com - 630-469-0032) Funeral service is Saturday, November 9th, 11 AM at the Wheaton Chinese Alliance Church, 1748 South Blanchard Street Wheaton, IL 60189. Interment is to follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Glen Ellyn.
