Gwen Anne D'Addio nee: Lichtenwalter, 73, of Glen Ellyn. Beloved former wife of Michael D'Addio. Devoted daughter of the late David Albert and Joy Louise Lichtenwalter. Loving mother of Joy D'Addio, Michael D'Addio and Amy (Jeffrey) Wloszek. Caring grandmother of Javier, Olivia, Miguel, Madelyn and Cameron. Dear sister of Michael and David Lichtenwalter. Dearly loved aunt of twelve nieces and nephews.
She achieved her Master's degree in Early Childhood Education and spent her career as a dedicated teacher. She also enjoyed traveling and trips to Door County, Wisconsin. Her hobbies included bird watching, gardening and spending time reading and participating in book clubs. Above all, her favorite time was spent being a mother and grandmother.
Visitation at 9:30 am until 11:00 am on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at Leonard Memorial Home, 565 Duane Street, Glen Ellyn, IL 60137. At 11:00 am, Service of Remembrances at Leonard Memorial Home.
