Gregory "Gregg" W. Tajak

Gregory "Gregg" Tajak; Dearly loved husband of Melanie Tajak; Devoted father of Dawn (Jim) Schwartz and Frank (Christy): Dearly loved grandfather of Madeline, Ashton, Frankie, Nico, Sammi, Penny, Joey and Milo: Fond son of the late Helen and late Henry Tajak: Beloved brother of Bruce (late Kathleen) & Russell (Liz) and uncle of Andrea, Diane, Willow, Lindsay & Robert.

Gregg was born and raised in Glen Ellyn, where he attended Glenbard West High School. He married Melanie in 1971 and moved to Lombard, where he raised his two children. Gregg worked hard all of his life to provide for them. Gregg enjoyed hunting, biking, kayaking and much to his family's chagrin, he loved the Green Bay Packers. He had no greater joy then spending time with his beautiful grandchildren and family was most important. He will be greatly missed. 

Visitation Monday, October 6th from 4-7 PM at Leonard Funeral Home, 565 Duane St. Glen Ellyn. Funeral service, Tuesday, October 7th at 11 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
