Elaine Jayson

Elaine Jayson, long time resident of Glen Ellyn, passed away September 29, 2021 at the age of 89. 

Dear wife to the late John Jayson; Beloved daughter to the late Ernest and Dorothy Mrochinski; Loving mother of  Diane (Kenneth) Schultz, Laurie (David) Swatek, David (Debra) Jayson; Devoted grandmother to Jacob Swatek, Elaine Swatek, Cameron Jayson, Elliott Jayson; Caring  step grandmother to 7 step grandchildren as well as 2 great-granddaughters; Fond sister to Norbert (Kathryn) Mrochinski, Richard (Kathleen) Mrochinski, the late Gerald (late Mary) Mrochinski, the late Janet Mrochinski; Kind aunt to 5 nieces and nephews.

Elaine was the quintessential caregiver; having spent much time helping relatives and caring for her beloved grandchildren.

Elaine spent her career working as an operator assist for AT&T. Her artistic nature kept her busy enjoying calligraphy and painting ceramics. She dappled in gardening and always appreciated the beauty of the outdoors. Friends and family benefited from her passion for finding a bargain and her boundless curiosity.

Service will be private.
